Insightful market research for strategic business decisions
Artificial Intelligence refers to the development of computer systems that can perform tasks that would typically require human intelligence. It involves the creation of algorithms and models that enable machines to learn, reason, perceive, and make decisions.
There are generally two types of AI: Narrow or Weak AI, which is designed to perform specific tasks, and General or Strong AI, which possesses human-level intelligence and can handle a wide range of tasks.
From the industry, such as PETRONAS Chemicals MTBE Sdn Bhd (PCMTBE), we met senior mechanical engineer M. Adnan Ayob, who was enthusiastic about the potential of the technology and eager to be part of the codebreaker.
The training was held at UTP with 25 participants from three institutions. All participants passed all assessments and are now qualified Level 2 inspectors in Ultrasonic Testing Thickness Measurement. DASIT’s involvement ensured the training was rigorous and industry-relevant.
